Displaying News Article 21 - 30 | Started Melee Weapons Friday - October 30, 2009 Woops, yesterday I forgot to put up a news post after I uploaded the latest version of the demo. Check it out Here.
The big addition is a chainsaw, be sure to play around with it. And I also added an early death system, so now you wont fall down an endless pit.

| Weapon Update Tuesday - October 27, 2009 Today I worked on the weapons having levels. This is the first gameplay feature in the new Demo that is different from the original version.
Having levels on the weapons changes a few things. These are: - You cannot use a weapon if it is higher than your level.
- You will not be able to increase a weapon's level.
- You can although increase a weapon's stats if it has upgrade slots available.
- Weapons now have a damage range, so every bullet gets a random damage amount between its range.

| Early Weapon Code Sunday - October 25, 2009 I finished the beginning of the new weapon code. Check out the Demo so far.
You can only carry two weapons, and can drop weapons with G and pick up weapons by crouching. Press Q or Scroll to switch guns. Now I just have to add more guns to test. -Corvinex- | View Comments(0) / Add Comment

| More Item Stuff Friday - October 23, 2009 Today I did more item coding. I also added health to the player. Try it out Here.
So far the only thing that can damage the player is fall damage. And there is no dying as of yet. There is a breakable crate in there now, and "windows" broken by bullets. And a health pack, that looks like it explodes, heh. Its all just for testing as I add features little by little.

| Early Item Code Friday - October 23, 2009 Last thing I've been working on is items for the demo. So far so good, check it out Here.
The new things in there is early version window, you can break through. And a "metal" box, which you can push but the player is weak right now ;)

| Added Some Effects Tuesday - October 20, 2009 I started turning everything in to specific object types now, and I added some particle effects for the different bullets. Check it out Here.
Next is adding in more items to play around with, and more "weapon" types.

| Better Late Than Never Tuesday - October 20, 2009 I didn't have much time today but I did a lot of planning and some coding. Most of it was behind the curtain stuff, check out the latest Demo.
I added some early particle code. Next is turning everything into specific object types. You might notice a slight fps boost on slower computers since I fixed up some drawing code.

| Another Day Another Update Sunday - October 18, 2009 Today I added to the Physics Demo bouncing bullets. Be sure to scroll through the "weapons" to test it out.
Things are going surprisingly smooth, so developing and implementing more things is easy. And the best part of it all is the code is clean. Soon I'll be moving on to more gun types, damage, effects, and then different platform types.
Everything that is missing from the current VE will be implemented in this version of it. So keep testing it for me, tell me if there is anything weird occurring. -Corvinex- | View Comments(0) / Add Comment

| Box Collision Saturday - October 17, 2009 Well I just finished box collisions. You can shoot out boxes, it was mostly for testing purposes. Check it out Here.
Its pretty much flawless! Tell me if any of the bullets go through walls. You can change "weapons" by scrolling. Only two types in there right now.

| Early Shooting Friday - October 16, 2009 Hey everyone, I added an early version of shooting in the physics revision. Try it out Here.
Use the Left Mouse Click to shoot, and right click to place the player anywhere on the map. Tell me if any of the green circles appears somewhere its not supposed to. Meaning if the bullets go through a line and hits another line its not supposed to.
