New Training Grounds

I have completely redone the Training Grounds to accommodate the new system of traveling. Doorways, who would of thought. This completely changes the gameplay style, so try it out.

There are also two new guns, the Anti-Gravity Gun and the Dual Shot. The Anti-Gravity Gun will blast you off in all kinds of directions, while the Dual Shot will let you shoot around corners.

My challenge to everyone is to reach the fourth level when they pick up the Anti-Gravity Gun. Its so much fun playing around with it.

Yes I was thinking about that too. Eventually I will implement it. I will need a lot of art though, and currently my artists are unavailable.

how do you get the new weapons and new lvls? i beat lvl 2 but there is nothing after it.

Member Messages

I have implemented messages into the User Info/My Account page. You can now leave a message to fellow players, and send me suggestions, ideas, or issues. You can also see if users are online viewing their info page. Check it out.

Also a major map change and new weapons are on their way! I'll keep you posted. :)

RPG Elements

I have begun implementing RPG elements into Project X. The game has now evolved into a 2D Platform RPG Shooter. I also updated the User Info/My Account page.

The experience points and levels will serve a purpose by having to reach a specific level before being able to purchase certain player and weapon upgrades. You can see your level and experience at the bottom of the game. The upgrades are still in the works, and I will begin coding them today.

I have also added an armor meter that will be an extra defense against enemies. The game will have upgrades for this as well which include increased capacity, auto regenerate, and more. There are now armor pack items implemented in the game, you can find them in wooden crates.

Check out Project X, and have fun. More updates are coming soon.

New Enemy

I put up the new fish enemy that Amorphous, the pixel artist, created. It looks like a beast, its my current favorite. Another one is comming up. Keep checking back.

Few Updates

There are updated Project X screen shots on the site. Check them out.

A few more map tiles have been added to Project X and a major update to the under water training map. There are also caged enemies in the training maps to give players incentive to sign up.

Users can now see each other's rooms. This feature is implemented to prepare for the room editing update. Just click my name at the bottom to view my room. Have fun.

New Map Tiles

Hey everyone, I added new map tiles that Amorphous, the new pixel artist, has created. You can check them out in the Training maps. He has created a lot more amazing pixel art to go along with the game, so keep checking back daily for updates.

Minor Update

Small update today so far. I added some info text when you stand over weapons so you know that you can switch guns. It helps a lot when your in some battles. Version 1.38 is the latest, enjoy.

Drop Weapons

I have added to Project X the ability to drop weapons. Now you will get to choose which weapons you would like to keep. There is also an added equiped weapons display, so you know what weapons you have in your arsenal.

Don't drop your weapons in your room just yet, thats the next feature coming. Have fun.

Room and Episodes

Hey everyone, I started working on rooms for each player to use. These rooms will enable players to leave items and weapons behind to use at a later time. Also players will be able to edit their room to thier liking, and other players will be able to visit each player's room. With this feature I can implement how they will be able to interact with items, for instance friends or team/clan members being able to use items.

Anyways, version 1.36 has episodes implemented. Once a player reaches a new episode it is added to their list, and can go back to it any time.

There is now in game money which is called Credx. With enough credx, in the near future, you will be able to purchase guns, upgrade guns, purchase player augmentations, and buy tiles for your room, among other things.

I also added a crosshair, which replaced the regular mouse cursor. You must now also login to play the full version of the game.
Oh yeah I almost forgot, dying teleports you back to your room and you have to start from the beginning of the episode. Have fun!

Minor Site Update

Comments and the check mark for Remember Me when you login both work perfectly now.

I'm working on Project X game play at the moment. There is a stable version now online, 1.36. Enjoy, although more changes are comming soon.
